Dr. Moylan to present research, composition at AES meeting April 2nd

Hey AESers!

Next Wednesday, April 2,2014 we are having a meeting featuring our own Dr. Moylan. He has been active in Music and Recording Technology communities for over 30 years, with extensive experience and credits as a record producer, recording engineer, composer, author, and educator. Dr. Moylan is an international leader in aural skills pedagogy to develop listening skills for comprehending music materials and the unique sound qualities of recordings.

Last year Dr. Moylan went on sabbatical to do in depth research into acoustics and singing bowls. We are very pleased to announce that this meeting will be a tell all encounter where Dr. Moylan will discuss everything he covered in his research, including a brand new composition. This will be an excellent meeting not just for Sound Recording majors, but students of any major interested in music composition, so all are welcome! It’s sure to be an incredible lecture and will take place in the pristine acoustics of 114 for some stellar audio examples. So come down to Durgin 114 next Wednesday at 7pm for a meeting you don’t want to miss!

Hope to see you all there!
