Jack Anderson
Biography
A professional audio / video engineer for 9 years, I’ve designed and engineered numerous whole-facility audiovisual systems. I’ve worked in the Pentagon configuring videoconferencing systems. I’ve worked in areas as far away as Monterey, Mexico, and Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. The customers I’ve worked with include Johns Hopkins University, the National Parks Service, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the International Monetary Fund.
I left full-time employment to deepen my knowledge of how business works by pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering Management at the University of Colorado. When I graduate in May of 2017, I will leave with a much stronger understanding of how business strategy is developed and deployed, as well as having learned a lot about leadership.

Biography
After spending 2 years doing sound design for AAA games with dSonic, Inc., I started freelancing and blogging about sound design.
Notes
- Spec Ops: The Line – dSonic had already been working on the game for a while when I joined them, so I was able to cut my teeth doing months of work on action set pieces and foley for cutscenes.
- BioShock Infinite – Irrational Games had dSonic do all the voice over mastering, and I lead 3 other engineers in cleaning up and balancing the game’s thousands of lines.
- Blogging – I’ve always liked having companies come to me instead of the other way around, so I’ve been building my name as a sound design authority through my website to attract new clients.
