Ryan Bennett
Biography
My primary job is an installer of AV equipment. We are based out of CT, but I have installed systems in CT, NY, MA, D.C, and other areas. I design audio profiles for the audio devices we use and tune the audio in the systems we install.
On the side I am a trombone performer, as well as a recording engineer.
Notes
I have produced 2 full albums, one an acoustic album, the other a variety of choral and ensemble mixes.
I did a research project at UML studying various microphone, microphone placement, and room setup in 114 with a brass quintet.
Tyler Bisson
Biography
Since graduating, I’ve started my own company doing mostly short run vinyl records. The process is totally wacky, but it results in an immediately playable record. I get a lot of business from smaller bands and labels that can’t afford a larger run of records, or people who just want to make something unique and collectable. I get to do a bit of recording, mixing, mastering as well to stay in this century as far as technology. The studio I rent a room in cuts master lacquers to be pressed, and I’m slowly learning that art as well.
Notes
I do short run work for a number of labels and bands including:
Broken World Media (CT), Driftwood Records (OR), Jumpstart Records (PA), Paper And Plastick (FL), Old Gray (NH), The World Is A Beautiful Place and I’m No Longer Afraid To Die (CT), Dads (NJ), Plow United (PA), Self Defense Family, etc.

Biography
I am currently a freelance Audio Engineer/Mixer and Producer for the commercial, broadcast, and film post-production industries. After nearly 10 years at one of NYC’s top commercial audio post houses, Sound Lounge, I recently left to work on the Sochi Olympics and then work for myself. I work either at my clients’ production facilities, or at my home studio. Current clients include NBC Sports, MSNBC, WWE, CBS News, Saatchi & Saatchi, Persistent Productions, to name a few.
I also run a production collective on the side. Working with a team of long-standing industry partners and friends, we handle full production on audio and video projects with a backbone in education or social awareness.
